Chicken Breakfast sausages

Sausage and egg sandwich :

A classic sausages and egg sandwich is super easy and quick to make.

Ingredients:

3 pcs : Eggs 

3 pcs : Sausages 

1/4 cup : Milk

1/2 cup : Shreaded chedder/ mozzarella cheese (optional)

2 pcs : Brown whole wheat or white bread buns

Salt and pepper (for taste)   

Preparations

Step 1

Take 3 pieces of the Honesty chicken sausages and cut into bite sized pieces. In a large skillet add 2 teaspoons of oil and saute the sausages over medium-high heat until evenly golden- brown and set aside.

Step 2

Keep the skillet on low-heat and add 2 tbps butter. Take a bowl and beat the eggs and milk together, adding the salt and pepper according to preferred taste. Add the mixture to the skillet and saute for 2 mins and add the cooked sausages. Stir and saute for another 4 mins on med- low heat and add some cheese and set aside .

Step 3

On the skillet, heat the buns until soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Now add the mixture on the buns and serve. 


Customising your sandwich 

You can add a side of sauteed veggies like mushrooms or cauliflower etc. You can also add Honesty foods skinless bacon in egg for a yummy omelette or have it crispy fried with egg that is sunny side up. Some berries and fruit at the side would work great as well.  Basically anything you can imagine to add to your favorite omelette can be tossed into to your eggs for a delicious sandwich.
